Work has recently been completed at Providence Square, residential apartments
adjacent to Tower Bridge. The project initially involved repairing the lining to the moat surrounding the private gardens, which was leaking into the carpark
beneath. The initial stage of the project involved the removal and temporarily relocation of the fish which lived in the moat, before the water was drained in order for the repair work to begin. Once the drainage had taken place major replacement works were then required to complete the project due to the substantial damage to the moat lining. Certain plant species also had be removed from the moat to ensure no further damage was caused to the moat lining by the plant roots. The residents remained in occupation throughout the duration of the project.
