The Grade I Listed British Library is the national library of the United Kingdom and the largest library in the world. The Library’s collections include around 14 million books, along with substantial holdings of manuscripts and historical items dating back as far as 2000 BC.

We completed the works for the ‘St Pancras Transformed’ new staff rooms, Member & Friends Lounge and Conference Centre.

The project involved a full strip-out, including minor structural alterations to the first, second and third floors of the conference building.

Refurbishment works were then carried out including new partitioning, ceilings, flooring and a full decoration package. A DDA lift, dumbwaiter and new toilets were also provided.

The building remained in occupation throughout to the general public and staff alike.
