Hale House, Residential Refurbishment

Value: £1,400,000
Duration: 39 weeks
Architect: Panter Hudspith
Quantity Surveyor: Burke Hunter Adams

We carried out the high specification refurbishment works at a private residential dwelling in Hale House, West London, located within a conservation area.

The project involved initial structural opening up works to reconfigure the existing 2460 sq ft dwelling. These minor structural works were followed by a complete strip-out and the replacement of all windows to new double glazed units.

The property was subject to a complete, high specification fit-out. All bathrooms and kitchens were stripped out and replaced with bespoke installations. A complete new services package was installed to include a new fire alarm system.

All works were carried out to the third floor apartment, whilst the rest of the building remained in occupation. It was necessary for materials in, and waste out, to be brought through the main communal areas. This required consideration and planning, to minimise the effect of other residents.
