This unique aerial view is a snapshot of our recent progress on-site at the King’s School in Canterbury, Kent.

Having started on site last year in 2019, with a view to completed in 2021, works are now well underway on the demolition and construction of a new science teaching block for the independent school.

The new teaching accommodation will house state-of-the-art laboratories, research area, lecture spaces and an auditorium, constructed within the campus area known as the ‘Mint Yard’, surrounded by Grade I and Grade II listed buildings.

Showcasing a design which is sympathetic to its surroundings, the new Science Centre will be clad in flint and feature a gabled roof, whilst linking to the adjacent Grade II listed, Parry Hall.

We excitedly look forward to sharing further updates on this build as we continue.
