Group Chairman
John founded Coniston in 1979 alongside his business partner, David Flanders. Trained as a plumber, he built the company from the ground up through his vision and passion. Now serving as Chairman, he remains hands-on in the business and is especially passionate about passing on his knowledge and experience to the next generation of the industry.
Deano Georgiou
Managing Director
Deano joined Coniston in 2013 as a Project Manager, having previously worked for Tier 1 contractors. Mentored closely by the Directors and immersed in the Coniston way of doing things, he now leads the strategic growth of the business as our Managing Director.
Steve Clarke
Contracts Director
Steve’s career began in commercial departments before moving into bespoke and specialist joinery; an experience that gave him a genuine eye for detail and quality. He has since overseen some of our most significant projects, including The Painted Hall, Sheerness Dockyard Church and Barts Heritage.
James Vevers
Director
James joined Coniston as Head of Pre-Construction before being promoted to Director, building a department strong enough to tender any project. He brings deep heritage and restoration expertise along with an invaluable network of contacts, and his role has grown to encompass far more than pre-construction alone.
Megan Forster
Operations Director
Megan first worked with us as a Project Manager before stepping into Client Project Management, where she gained extensive experience delivering super prime residential projects. She returned to Coniston in 2025 as Operations Director, now heading up our Construction team.
Rhys Sumpton
Director
Rhys joined Coniston in 2025, bringing significant industry knowledge and a fresh perspective to our growing business. Commercially minded at his core, he now oversees all contracts on site.
John Martin
Finance Director
John trained within an accountancy practice and is a fellow of the ACCA. Before joining Coniston, he spent 20 years as Finance Director of a software company in the credit card payments sector, gaining international experience along the way, including time working in Scandinavia. He leads our accounts department and financial control, and works closely with the wider commercial team.
